Q: WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Resonant Rehearsals is run from The Half-ton Recording studio in Milton Just outside Cambridge. If you know the large Tesco's in Milton, we are in the middle of the three industrial estates directly opposite. Not the one for the country park or the Cambridge Evening News! Full details here.


Q: DO I HAVE TO USE THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM AND WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY IN ADVANCE?
A: We like people to go through the booking system if at all possible but if you can't; you are still very welcome. Please get in touch via email. We've set up a booking system that works best for the majority of our customers and means people can choose a space and time that works for them and their bandmates. Pre-payment means there's no messing about with cash or cards when you visit us, and you can also organise splitting payment between you at your leisure. From our point of view, it also ensures we only get people using the facilities who are reliable and appreciate us providing good quality but affordable practice space.

Q: DO YOU HAVE PARKING AVAILABLE?
A: The studio is situated on a busy industrial estate, and we only have 3 dedicated parking bays. It usually works out just fine though, and we’re happy to help guide you if any problems. The nearby Tesco's offer 3 hours free parking if it's exceptionally busy. 

Q: CAN I HIRE BACKLINE?
Each room comes with basic backline included in the booking price. This consists of a drum kit (minus snare and cymbals), bass amp and guitar amp (smallish combo). There is typically an extra guitar combo, snare drum and a low quality set of cymbals in the room but please state in the 'comments' section of the booking form what you need, and we will confirm if there are any issues asap. 

Q: ARE YOU OPEN ON SUNDAYS?
Yes, although we have to work around the Recording studio in which Resonant is based so are unable to offer it through the booking system at present. Get in touch via email about weekend bookings. Resonantrehearsals@gmail.com

Q: WILL THERE BE SOMEONE ON SITE TO HELP US SET-UP?
Yes, although not necessarily all evening. Your room will be set-up and ready for you when you arrive, and we will be on hand if any issues with getting the PA working etc. If you think you might need a little extra help, then please mention it at the time of booking. We want to do what we can to help you have a great session!

Q: CAN I TURN UP EARLY TO SET-UP?
You can, but we can't guarantee your room will be ready for you if more than 5 or 10 minutes before your session start time.

Q: WHAT FACILITIES DO YOU HAVE? TOILET, KITCHEN ETC?
We have clean, respectable toilet facilities. A basic kitchen area is available with a kettle and microwave and toaster.
